The duties of the Head Office

The planning for the Development of C & D category roads belong to the Central Provincial Road Development Authority and plan Implementation, securing the allocations and incurring expenditures, looking in to the problems and the privileges of the whole staff and monitoring the divisional office, are the responsibilities vested in the Provincial Road Development Authority Head Office.

Works Division

The works division is responsible to the GM via the DGM (Engineering) in all relevant construction works (i.e., Rehabilitation/Improvements and Maintenance) being carried out in the four divisions. This is a transit and a link between GM and the respective EE’s divisional work. Any work assign to the division will flow through works division and vise-versa. The claims for the same are feed back in the same path. This gives a good transparency and concurrence of the works.

The division is compromise with two operation engineers with their subordinating staff.

Account Section

The Provincial Road Development Authority, Central Province implements its work with the hope of connecting the villege to the city though the well maintenance for the maintenance of methodological accounting procedure, financial management , maintence of accounts branch coordinates all the acounting matters of the other out side institutes and agencies transacting with the PRDA (CP) for its assistance. there are 06 Manegement assistants attached to the accounts branch of the PRDA.

Administrative Section

The Administration branch executes all administrative and establishmentrequirements of all employees of the PRDA (CP)

This particular section administers the whole staff and maintenes a personal file every employees and issue circulars etc. relating to the administration of the executive engineer office.

The strength of the staff of the PRDA (CP) is employees. The administrative head of the PRDA (CP) is its general manager. He, for the smooth running of the institute, has delegated powers to the accountant and administrative officer for the supervision of development section, account section and administration section, respectively, in addition for continuous flowing of all such work and for identify correct menthodologies the PRDA
